Neue Flugverbindungen (update)

Air India fliegt seit Beginn des Sommerflugplans 3 mal wöchentlich von Delhi über ein Ziel das ich nicht kenne nach BHX und dann weiter nach Toronto. Eingesetzt wird eine 772.
Finde ich zwar gut das hier in BHX entlich mal was los ist aber ich hätte den Flug nach YYZ doch lieber ab MUC von AI gesehn. ::)

Noch was EK setzt in letzer Zeit nur noch B773 nach BHX ein, muss aber sagen ist trotzdem noch sehr langwelig!! ;D ;D
 
Aer Lingus to add 2 routes May 20
Aer Lingus will inaugurate nonstop service from Dublin to Almeria (Spain) and to Krakow (Poland) at the end of October when its winter schedule starts. Flights to Almeria will operate twice a week, on Wed/Sat, while flights to Krakow will operate 3x a week, on Tue/Thu/Sat.

SriLankan to start Beijing service May 20
SriLankan Airlines will inaugurate service from Colombo to Beijing on June 15th. The airline will operate 3 flights a week, departing CMB on Wed/Fri/Sun via Bangkok using Airbus A330s or A340s.

Nicht nur nach BHX. habe diesen Vogel ebenfalls in MXP gesehen.

As from August 1st, EK will be adding a new daily frequency to LHR, making the total flights from DXB to LHR rise from 4 to 5. The new schedule is:

EK 0029 DXB - LHR 0950 - 1415 A330
EK 0030 LHR - DXB 1700 - 0255 A330

This adds to EK001/2 (B773), EK003/4 (B773), EK005/6 (B773), EK007/8(A330)

Virgin Atlantic Airways today announced its expansion plans for the next year which will see the launch of direct services from London to Dubai and Montego Bay, Jamaica, together with extra service to Mumbai. This will bring the airline’s total number of destinations to twenty-eight.

Services between London Heathrow and Dubai launch in April 2006 and will be operated with Airbus A340-600 aircraft. The services between London Gatwick and Jamaica will operate twice a week on a Boeing 747-400 aircraft from July 2006. Services between Heathrow and Mumbai will increase from three a week to daily from December 2005 on an A340-300 aircraft.

Dubai-Blantyre (Mon/Sun) ; Dubai-Lilongwe (Thu).

Für MUC hätte ich mir sogar eine etwas höhere Auslastung vorstellen können;D

Das mit der 737 ist ein Journalistenfehler. Die Flugnummer war UM 733, die Maschine logischerweise eine B762

According to a Mexican Newspaper, Air Madrid will start flying to Mexico City on Friday June 24, 2005 with one weekly flight which could reach seven weekly flights in the foreseeable future. There is no information about this flight in Air Madrid’s website, but if true, AM and IB will have tough competition…

Varna. A new direct regular line Varna-Amsterdam-Varna will be officially opened on 6th June at 14:00 on Varna airport, reads the press bulletin oof Bulgaria Air. The national carrier Bulgaria Air will operate once a week, on Mondays, directly from the sea capital of Bulgaria to Amsterdam (Holland). The flights will be with Boeing 737-300.

New routes from Qantas

QANTAS'S regional carrier, Australian Airlines, is putting on four new services between Cairns and the Japanese cities of Nagoya and Sapporo.

Australian Airlines currently operates daily non-stop flights between Nagoya and Cairns and will add two more flights, on Wednesdays and Fridays, from August 3. Non-stop flights on Wednesdays and Saturdays between Sapporo and Cairns will be added from November 2.
