Air China
--------
Will begin services PEK-MAD-GRU effective December 10 with Boeing 767-300ER with 10F 26C 189Y, with two weekly flights. Air China receives rights for MAD-GRU-MAD leg.
CA907 - Sunday / Thursday
PEK 0100 MAD 0645 0815 GRU 1605 (same day)
CA908 - Sunday / Thursday
GRU 2045 MAD 0955 (+1) 1135 PEK 0635 (+2)
First service between continental Asia and Brazil. EK and others comment "they could fly...", Air China comes first... "we will fly".
Seems to be a little uncomfortable the stop at MAD and the high density on their 767, but i don't have idea about the level of comfort on such plane.
Aero Mexico
-----------
Will add two additional flights between Mexico and Sao Paulo effective November 21st. The new flights will be operated with Boeing 767-200 as follows:
AM016 MEX 1030 GRU 0015 B762 - Tuesday / Saturday
AM017 GRU 0700 MEX 1240 B762 - Wednesday / Sunday
Times are not so good for connections, and despite their opinion that GIG is not a good option, seems it gonna be better than this schedule. It could be a problem of lack of plane to run a better time.
Varig
-----
Announced yesterday they will as soon as they get the airline certification from ANAC, return to JFK, MIA, LHR, LIM, SCL, MEX as well as domestic destinations like NAT, IGU, VIX, CNF, PFB among others. To run these flights, 14 B733 are ready to fly waiting for the approval from ANAC. For the international flights, seems that one more M11 will be added soon to the fleet, and Varig keep negotiations with AC to obtain some 767-300ER.
Also, Varig confirms that they will buy some EMB-195 from Embraer with PTV and leather seats. A big improvement for their domestic network.
