Gatwick (late March):
Salonika in Greece 4 weekly
Split in Croatia 3 weekly
Vilnius 5 weekly

Birmingham to Geneva Saturday service December to April

BA's flights to Cairo, Egypt will be upgraded from 777 to 744, making it the airline's shortest 747 flight.
 
Gulf Air has announced that effective 15 December the airline will increase the frequency of its operations to Frankfurt Mein by the addition of four services from Abu Dhabi International Airport to the German city.

EI will probably target a lot of European transitting traffic via DUB to fill its MCO flights which will likely see A 332s and not A 333s.

I dont know why they want to start in FEB as the peak season in MCO is from NOV-MAR mainly.
 
Polar Air Cargo starts Peru service
Polar Air Cargo inaugurated service from Miami to Lima. The airline operates a weekly flight via Campinas near Sao Paulo using a Boeing 747-400F.

United to start SFO-Nagoya service
United Airlines confirmed yesterday it will start nonstop service from San Francisco to Nagoya on June 1st 2005. Service out of Nagoya begins on June 3rd. United will operate a daily Boeing 777-200 to the new Central Japan International Airport which is scheduled to open in February.

Verlängerung der neuen Strecke nach Johannesburg ab 15. Januar 2005 - Vier Flüge pro Woche – Anschlüsse ab Frankfurt und München

Südafrika ist ab 15. Januar 2005 neu im Flugplan von Qatar Airways, und das gleich mit zwei Zielen. Nach erfolgreichen Gesprächen mit den zuständigen Behörden in Südafrika kann Qatar Airways wunschgemäß die neue Strecke Doha – Johannesburg weiterführen bis nach Kapstadt. Die vier wöchentlichen Flüge ab/bis Doha nach Südafrika bieten auch für den deutschen Markt günstige Anschlüsse ab München und Frankfurt. Von den derzeit fünf wöchentlichen Flügen ab München und sechs ab Frankfurt nach Doha bieten jeweils zwei besonders günstige Umsteigezeiten nach Johannesburg und Kapstadt: dienstags und donnerstags ab Frankfurt sowie samstags und donnerstags ab München. „Die neuen Südafrika-Flüge bedeuten für unsere gute Zusammenarbeit mit den Reiseveranstaltern in Deutschland neue, positive Perspektiven,“ sagt Klaus Scheer, Area Manager Germany von Qatar Airways in Frankfurt.

More Zoom into the UK in 2005
Zoom Airlines will operate scheduled service from Calgary, Toronto and Vancouver into Manchester from May 2005. Calgary flights will operate from Manchester on Thu, Toronto from Manchester on Mon and Fri and Vancouver from Manchester on Thu and Sat all with a Boeing 767.
 
Laut airliners.net soll BHX nächsten Sommer 2 mal täglich bedient werden und MAN sogar 3 mal täglich!!

Qatar Airways are supposedly starting up flights from Doha to Gatwick on the 26th November. The schedule lasts through to March 26th. The flights are daily, except in the first week of operation, when there is no thursday flight.
